Week 10-Classmate Conversation-Rosanna Ramirez

This week at the galleries I met a new friend and classmate, Rosanna Ramirez. Rosanna is a second year just like myself. Currently, she is undeclared so she’s not for sure on what she wants to pursue in the future. She is still figuring it all out but she wanted to maybe try music production (which is not offered at CSULB). So, she is also thinking maybe film. Something really unique about Rosanna is that she has a twin sister who also goes here names Rochelle. In her spare time Rosanna enjoys playing the guitar, hanging with friends, going to the movies or beach, and going out to eat. Mexican food is her favorite type of food to eat! Rosanna commutes to school since she is from Downey although her parents were initially from Mexico. They are from Guadalajara which Rosanna loves visiting. When she visits Mexico, she loves to see family, try new things and see new places.

Rosanna decided to take Art 110 because she did not want to take Art history but enjoys art in general. She claims that she isn’t good at it although argues that it is such a good type of expression. I completely agree with that statement! I also think that art shouldn’t just be something you do if you’re good at, it should be for anyone who has a passion for it.

If Rosanna could visit anywhere in the world she would choose Spain! She thinks it looks so pretty and would enjoy getting to know new traditions, new customs and new people. She also believes it is a country that has stuck by it’s roots and hasn’t changed immensely over history.

For halloween, Rosanna is going to be half a skeleton.

Happy Halloween! Nice meeting you, Rosanna.
